ABOUT US

​​The Research Group "Gender and Medicine in Japanese History" aims to develop an international research network on the history of gender and medicine/healthcare in Japan and open up the possibility for future collaboration and publication.

​This group was initiated by Hiro Fujimoto (Kyoto University/JSPS) in April 2021.

[April 6, 2022] The program of the fourth workshop (April 30) has been published.
[February 26, 2022] 
Call for proposals for the fourth workshop (April 30, 2022) is now open (Proposal submission deadline: March 25, 2022). 
[January 26, 2022] The program of the third workshop (February 26) has been published.
[November 18, 2021] Call for proposals for the third workshop (February 26, 2022) is now open (Proposal submission deadline: January 15, 2022). 
[October 4, 2021] The program of the second workshop (October 25) has been published.
